Ok. I’ve admitted this before. I am a simple man and no mental giant. Occasionally, I need things explained to me. I now need help with the following issue. I am a Republican. At least I thought I was. Now I’m beginning to wonder. I like to be part of a winning team. Representing right and justice. Please explain to me how a Republican controlled executive, senate and congress can get it’s butt handed to them over and over again by the liberal democrats. Republicans have always stood for limited government and now the democrats have got these weak kneed representatives and senators thinking we have to have a national health care program. WE VOTED TO REPEAL, NOT REPLACE 44 CARE. (I’ll never say Obama again).
Why do our elected representatives like Kevin Brady think we have to replace the damn thing? I don’t get it. Thank God for Ted Cruz and the few with him. Repeal, not replace. Why is that so hard to understand? Quit trying kiss liberal butt. They are never going to like you. Get the government out of our lives. Damn, Mr. Brady, you’ve been promising and “fighting for” tax reform ever since you first got elected. Just focus on that and get the hell away from the cameras and get us some tax relief. Or anything that helps us here in Houston County. ANYTHING! PLEASE! Why are republicans so frozen by analysis paralysis? I’ll tell you why. They have become more like old time conservative Texas democrats than republicans.
Right now republicans have possibly the best offensive team ever assembled and in position to score. They can’t get down close enough to the goal line to get a field goal. A great quarterback with courage, President Trump, has a full pro line up so the offensive coordinator must be to blame. That would be the Republican National Committee! I don’t know how they do it but they turn our elected reps into sniveling, politically correct puppets. LET 44 CARE DIE! Get that federal monster out of our lives. Please! God help and bless Houston County.
