Grapeland National Day of Prayer

A ceremony was held at the First Christian Memorial Church in Grapeland to celebrate National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 4 with prayers and songs and sack lunch provided. Participants included Jerry Hinson, Pastors Wade Harmon, Josh Lindsey, Tommy Sprinkle, Wayne Stewart, Josh Luker, Brodrick Hill and Randy Shipman. Grapeland ISD Superintendent Dr. David Maass also offered a prayer for our schools and educators. Grapeland Senior Josh Goolsby led the group in the pledge of allegiance as they prayed for the country, government, military, churches and family. Patriotic songs were sung with accompanying music provided by Francis Jordon.
