Keep Elkhart Beautiful, Inc. Awarded Grant

ELKHART – In the early spring of 2019, Keep Elkhart Beautiful, Inc. (KEB) received a grant in the amount of $650 from Keep Texas Beautiful.

The grant was used for recycling containers and KEB Treasurer Kristi McWright ordered the containers which were received by the organization in April.

According to KEB President Rosemary Biel, “Some of these will be used at the home football games of the Elkhart Elks. Presently, three of the bins are being used at Salmon Lake Park, in Grapeland, during the summer.”

The grant was made available by Waste Management, Inc. in Texas.
