Will David Bruner

Will David Bruner, age 78, of Missoula, MT passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Huntsville. He was born July 18, 1938 in Weldon to parents, Jessie Lee Bruner and Oma Sephronia Shaw Bruner. Will was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of IBEW #768 and Missoula Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M. and he loved hunting.

For most of his life, Will worked as a journeyman electrician.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mira Bruner of Missoula, MT; son, Bill Roper and wife, Norma of Whitehouse, OH; grandchildren, Chad Roper and wife, Sarah of Napoleon, OH, Lisa M. Smith and husband, Chad of Tipp City, OH, and Lance Roper and wife, Tori of Rossford, OH; great-grandchildren, Adilyn Smith and Adria Smith of Tipp City, OH; sisters, Frances Whitmire of Weldon, Nellie Tinder of Houston, and Marian Machac of Weldon; brothers, Tim Bruner and wife, Joyce of Hockley and Joe Bruner of Crockett; numerous other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Oma Bruner; sister, Wanda Worley and husband, Bob; brothers-in-law, Jack Whitmire and George Machac.

Funeral services for Will David Bruner will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Weldon Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Brazzil officiating.

The family received friends for visitation Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment and graveside services were held Friday, February 24, 2017 at 4 p.m. in the Mountain Creek Cemetery in Saint Jo, Texas.

The family received friends at the Saint Jo Landmark Missionary Baptist Church from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
