WEEKLY BIBLE COMMENTARY by Wes Woodard: A New Year’s Resolution

Weekly Bible Commentary by Wes Woodard

“A New Year’s Resolution” – Hebrews 10:23-25

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering ….. and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together….. but encouraging one another …. as you see the day drawing near.” (NASV)

We are exhorted in these verses to keep on keeping on in our Christian faith.  And, we should keep on telling others, young and old, of the way to Heaven.  One of the greatest recent blessings we had in our small church was the salvation of an 83 year old man. After he trusted Christ, he was baptized by our pastor.  What joy it brought to the entire congregation.  It showed us again that it is never too late to ask Jesus to be your Savior.

May the Lord richly bless each of you in this New Year.
