Melinda Adams Hudson
Services for Melinda Adams Hudson age 55 of Conroe will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland with Rev. Butch Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Guiceland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Hudson died Tuesday at Houston County Medical Center in Crockett. She was born August 10, 1961 in Mineola to Cleo and Sarah Grant Adams. She was a retired cosmetologist. Melinda spent much of her early years in her hair salon, doing what she did best making people smile and telling them how beautiful they were. Melinda also enjoyed being a grandmother otherwise know as “Gamie” they always kept a smile on her face and kept her going strong.
Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents Cleo Adams and Sarah Grant Edwards, a brother Johnny Adams, sister, Jamie Brent and nephew Christopher Wick. She is survived by her daughters Britney Marsh and husband Joshua of Conroe, Sarah Teal and husband Christopher of Porter, a sister Tammy Adams Wick, brothers, James Brent, Jr., Jason Brent, and Chad Edwards, grandchildren, Hayden Marsh, Briana Marsh, Alana Teal , and Hudson Teal, mother and father-in-law Helen and Neal Hudson.
Pallbearers will be Adam Wick, Hayden Marsh, Robbie Bartlett, James Brent, Jr. and Jason Brent. Honorary pallbearers will be Hudson Teal and Chad Edwards.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland.
