Laura Lee Walker
Laura Lee Walker, age 62, of Ratcliff passed away October 24, 2016 in Lufkin. She was born May 20, 1954 in San Antonio to parents, Robert Wilford John Hotte and Barbara Lou Webb Hotte. She was the Assistant Pastor, Music Director, and a faithful member of the Community Church of Ratcliff. Laura was a dedicated servant of the Lord and very musically gifted. She wrote over 100 songs and recorded a CD.
She was survived by her husband, David L. Walker of Ratcliff; children, Chad D. Walker of Fort Worth, Karla D. Williams and husband, Michael of Crockett, and Kayla D. Walker of Hondo; grandchildren, Timothy Teasdale, Allison Teasdale, Jacob Teasdale, MacKenzie Williams, Thomas Jackson Williams, MaKayla Walker, Hunter Walker, Tristian Walker, and Hayden Walker; sister, Anna Trimble of Fort Worth, brother, Paul Eugene Hotte of Austin; numerous other loving relatives and friends; and many spiritual sons and daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Barbara Hotte; and niece, Tasha Hotte.
Memorial services for Laura Lee Walker will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Church of Ratcliff, P.O. Box 193, Ratcliff, Texas 75858.
