Memorial services for Betty Ann Holt age 74 of Grapeland were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland with Rev. Jason Selman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Holt passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born February 16, 1943 in Lubbock, TX. Mrs. Holt was a homemaker, and was a journalist for the Houston County Courier for over 16 years.

Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Delbert Wayne Holt of Grapeland, her sons, Mark Adam Holt of Grapeland, and Devin Wayne Holt and wife Annette of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

A visitation was held an hour prior to service from 2 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Funeral Home Chapel in Grapeland.
