Boyd Lee Beeson

Boyd Lee Beeson, 81, has died October 28, 2016 at St Dominic Village in Houston, Texas.

Mr Beeson was born January 16, 1935 in Elkhart, Texas. Mr Beeson graduated from Grapeland High School in 1954 and served in the United States Army from 1957-1959, spending part of this time in Germany. After an Honorable Discharge, Mr Beeson moved to Houston and started working for Houston Lighting & Power as an electrician. In 1966 he met Ruth Brown and they married in 1967. Mr Beeson spent 36 years with HL&P, retiring in 1992.

Mr Beeson is survived by two step grandsons, Matt Brown of Kingwood, TX and Stanton Brown of Sugar Land, TX – along with their wives Debbie and Liz Brown, and four step great grandchildren (Blake, Stephanie, Audrey, and Alyssa).

Mr Beeson was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, of who passed in 2008 – they were married for 41 years. Mr Beeson is also preceded in death by two step children, Judy Hymel of Pasadena, TX (2011) and Tom Brown of Houston, TX (2012).

Mr Beeson will be laid to rest at Earthman-Resthaven in North Houston, next to his wife on November 1, 2016.
