Lt. Lonnie Lum and Officer Abel Aguirre earned prestigious Medal of Valor awards for bravery in action in responding to the aggravated robbery of Mike’s Corner Store in December 2015. After a lengthy vehicle chase, the suspect wrecked his vehicle and fled on foot. He was quickly captured.
