Chuck Barton Musick

Chuck Barton Musick, age 54, of Waskom, and formerly of Grapeland, Texas passed away on January 25, 2017.  He was born on May 26, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Sammy Joe Musick and Dixie Jarvis Musick.  He was a truck driver for Davis Chemical.

Mr. Musick was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Joe Musick; sisters, Susan McQueen and Jana Freese; brother, Joe Vaughn Musick; and nephew Ryan James.

Mr. Musick is survived by his mother, Dixie Musick of Grapeland; fiancée, Jan Booth; the mother of his children, Earline Musick; daughter, Alicia Martinez and husband Juan of Crockett; sons, Joseph Musick and Jay Musick of Grapeland; grandchildren, Gabryl, Tony, Sophia and Sammie Martinez; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Chuck Barton Musick will be held at 3:00 p.m. on January 29, 2017 in the Rhone Memorial Chapel with Bro. Elton Musick officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation two hours prior of services.  Interment will follow in Parker Cemetery.
