UIL Begins Realignment, Reclassification Process

Numbers Released Dec. 6 By Will Johnson Messenger Reporter EAST TEXAS – On Wednesday, Dec. 6, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) released the conference cutoff numbers and preliminary enrollment figures for the 2018-2020 reclassification and realignment. The conference cutoff numbers provide the range of enrollment for each of the six conferences (1A – 6A), including divisional cutoffs for football. The night started with the JV Sandiettes defeating the JV Chireno Lady Owls and ended with the varsity Sandies hammering the Varsity Owls by a score of 73-51. By William James Johnson Messenger Reporter CROCKETT – A warrant execution on Wednesday, Dec. 6 led to the arrest of a Crockett man on first degree felony drug charges.
