Angela Rachelle Davenport Brent

Angela Rachelle Davenport Brent, 43, passed away peacefully at her home in Crockett, TX, Saturday, April 1, 2017.  She was born October 23,1973, in Crockett, TX to Ronnie and Debbie Davenport.

 Angela was a 1992 graduate of Latexo High School in which she graduated Valedictorian of her class.  She went on to pursue a nursing degree at Trinity Valley Community College, where she received her Licensed Vocational Nursing Degree.

Angela dedicated more than 10 years of her life to helping her patients at Whitehall Nursing home until the past several years in which health reasons prevented her from working.  Angela lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures.  She loved chatting with family and friends, and spending time with her daughter, niece and nephews.  They were the loves of her life.

 She is survived by her daughter Harli Scott Brent, her parents Ronnie and Debbie Davenport, her brother Scott Wayne Davenport, her sister-in-law Stacy Purser Davenport, her nephew Tristin Scott Davenport, her niece Madison Nicole Davenport and her fiance Trey Cole, her great-nephew Drake Grant Cole, her grandmother Dorothy Ellis, her uncles Alton Ray Ellis, Dennis Alton Davenport, and Jerry Stewart, and many cousins and friends she loved like family.

 Angela is preceded in death by her grandfather, the late Walter Ellis, grandparents Alton and Christy Charlene Davenport, her aunts Marcia Lynn Ellis Davenport, and Betty Gwynn Ellis Stewart her cousin Billy Lee Davenport, and Kaylee Blair Stewart.

 Angela’s spirit will lay to rest at Jim English Cemetery in the Berta Community.  Angela’s love and spirit will remain in all who loved her especially her daughter, Harli Brent.  A private memorial will be held for immediate family only.
