Maggie “Tag” Davis Williford Youngblood

Memorial services for Maggie “Tag” Davis Williford Youngblood, 89, of Grapeland, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church Grapeland, with Rev. Jon Thornsbury officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Youngblood passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Legacy at Town Creek.

She was the seventh child born to Judge Frank J. Davis and Maggie Mae (Knight) Davis. She was a graduate of Athens High School, and a member of First United Methodist Church Grapeland. She was the past County Treasury of Henderson County.

Mrs. Youngblood was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, R.L. Williford, Jr., and James F. Youngblood, four brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Anderson and husband Ray, and Leigh Williams, grandsons; James, Brandyn and wife Laci, Dustin and wife Sarah, Christopher and wife Emily, and Jonathan and fiancé Anna, two step grandchildren; Cody Anderson and wife Amanda, and Jaci Anderson, numerous great grandchildren, and special niece and nephew, Holly Lemmell, and Paul Lemmell, and great niece Maggie Lemmell.

Pallbearers were Brandyn Hopper, Dustin Pugh, Christopher Hopper, Jonathan Pugh, Jody Phillips, Shane Phillips, Stephen McConnell, and Josh Frederikson. Honorary pallbearers will be Petteri Packalen, Ray Anderson and Paul Lemmell.
