Crockett Medical Center Opens for Business

 CROCKETT – After over a year without a hospital, the city of Crockett and Houston County have a new hospital provider for the first time since Timberlands Healthcare abruptly departed the oldest county in Texas.

In a July 31 press release from Crockett Medical Center, CEO Jeff Perry announced CMC was open for business.

The press release stated, “Crockett Medical Center is proud to announce hospital services have now returned to Houston County and surrounding areas. On July 31, 2018 Crockett Medical Center opened its doors, providing healthcare to patients requiring Emergency Department, Inpatient, Radiology, and Laboratory services.”

“In addition,” the press release continued, “Crockett Medical Center Clinic has been growing since the June 4, 2018 opening by adding multiple providers. The following providers are available for appointments by calling Crockett Medical Center Clinic at (936) 544-5132:

  • Natalie Bachynsky, FNP-C
  • Tim Meyer, PA-C
  • Dr. Jeff Kroll, MD (Urology)
  • Dr. Clifton O’Meara, MD (Orthopedics)”
