Matthew 2 – “King Herod Murders Jewish Male Children”

Trying to kill Jesus, not knowing Joseph had already taken Him and Mary to Egypt, “When Herod saw that he had been tricked … he was very enraged, and had all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under murdered!”  This was a horrible act!  It reminds me of how different the Japanese and Germans treated Allied P.O.W.s in WW II.  This was made more real to me when I visited Camp Hearne and listened to the lecturer tell how Africa Corps German prisoners of war were treated there.  The reality of Christianity became apparent to these German prisoners.  Kindness and compassion are the result of changed lives. Knowing God the Father through personal faith in His Son can make a big difference! God bless America, land that I love!  Amen.
