Mauricio Guzman

Mauricio Guzman, 26, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 in CHI St. Luke’s Hospital, The Woodlands.  Mauricio was born April 13, 1992 in Zacatacas, Mexico, to parents, Antonio Guzman and Olga Padilla Guzman.

Mauricio is survived by his parents, Olga and Oscar Campos of Crockett; brothers, Juan Figueroa and wife, Vannessa Ortega of Athens, Fernando Figueroa of Crockett; sisters, Katie Figueroa Colvin and husband, Dustin of Nogalus Prairie, Yarely Yaritxa Campos of Crockett; nephews, Westin Arlan Colvin, Hayden Alexander Colvin; niece, Gracie Marie Colvin; girlfriend, Sarah Schumann of Huntsville; step-father, Salvador Figueroa; grandparents, Altagracia Campos, Jose Luis Campos; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, Antonio Guzman; grandmothers, Eustolia Carillo, Julia Cataño­­; uncle, Nicolas Padilla; aunt, Pancha Guzman.

Funeral services for Mauricio Guzman was held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 12 noon in the First Baptist Church of Crockett with Rev. Oscar Mario Campos officiating.  Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Family received friends for visitation Friday, July 13, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Crockett.
