Eloise Bridges Adams

Eloise Bridges Adams, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in the Houston Memorial Hermann Hospital.  Eloise was born July 29, 1932 in Pearson Chapel, to parents Robert Willis Bridges and Viola Elizabeth Bitner Bridges. She was retired from Occidental Life Insurance Company as a secretary after 25 years of service and a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennard.

Eloise is survived by her husband of 66 years, W.W. Adams of Crockett; daughter, Diane Adams Banks and husband, David of Houston; son, Greg Adams and wife, Christine of Cypress; grandchildren, Jamie Banks of Houston, Stephanie Adams of Dalhart, Elizabeth Ridgeway of Keller, Travis Adams of Houston, Chase Adams of Galveston and Paige Adams of Cypress; great-grandchildren, Christian, Alyssa, Madison and Cooper; sisters, Hilda Adams and husband, Mack of Lovelady, Joyce Adams and husband, Chester of Weldon, Gerry Gardner of Pearson Chapel; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Adams; parents, Willis and Viola Bridges; brothers, Earl, Howard, Terrell and Garlan Bridges.

Funeral services will be held for Eloise Bridges Adams at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jim Durham officiating. Interment followed in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery.  Family received friends for visitation Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kennard First Baptist Church, 300 Carson, Kennard, Texas 75847.
