Billie Janis Wiggins

Services for Billie Janis Wiggins age 86, of Palestine will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. David English officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wiggins passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Palestine Regional Medical Center. She was born January 15, 1932 in Navasota, Texas to Randall and Marjorie Tatum Phillips. Mrs. Wiggins was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was an elementary teacher for 33 years. She served with her husband as a missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention Home Mission Board Missionary for 14 years in New Mexico and Texas.

Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Margie Moriarty.

She is survived by her husband Forrest W. Wiggins of Palestine, daughters, Ruth Ann Webb and husband Craig of Palestine, and Amy McMichael and husband Rob of Tyler, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Haupt, Paul Webb, Taylor McMichael, Joel McMichael, Ben Fisher and Jonathan Rico.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, 207 S. Magnolia, Palestine, Texas 75801.
