Andrew Charles “A.C.” Moers

Andrew Charles “A.C.” Moers, 88, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Crockett.  A.C. was born December 10, 1929 in Harris County, Texas, to parents Winnie Kuntze and Henry Herman Moers. He was a retired dairyman and rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Crockett, serving as an usher for many years.

A.C. is survived by his son, Gary Moers and wife, Dae Diane, of Crockett; daughters, Donna Breck and husband, Joe, of Pensacola, Fla. and Gail Henning of Katy; grandchildren, Kimberly Vogt and husband, Russell, of Richmond, Andy Moers and wife, Gina, of Tyler, April Henning of Katy, Ginny Laws and husband, Jared, of Crockett; great-grandchildren, Sullivan Moers and Jeremy Vogt; nieces, Bonnie Watkins of Austin, Becky Lambeth of Arden Hills, Minn., Dorothy Hawick of Houston; nephews, David Liere of Franklin, Dean Speckmaier, Kenneth Speckmaier and Allen Speckmaier all of Hempstead.  In death, he has been reunited with his wife of 67 years, Delores Lavone Moers; parents, Henry and Winnie Moers; sisters, Evelyn Speckmaier and Katherine Higgins.

Funeral services for Andrew Charles “A.C.” Moers were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at First Baptist Church Crockett with Dr. Ed Hogan officiating. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston. Family received friends for visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22 at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
