Kerry Mitchell “Mickey” Hayes

Kerry Mitchell “Mickey” Hayes, age 56, of Weches, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence.  Kerry was born September 13, 1961 in Laurel, Mississippi to parents, William Perry Hayes, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Speights Hayes.  He worked as a motor hand in the oil field for many years and was a member of the Wildwood Country Church.

Kerry is survived by wife of 25 years, Sandra Burran Hayes of Weches; sons, Dallas Mitchell Hayes of Galt, CA, Gary McDonald and wife, Sherri of Arp, Andy McDonald of Crockett, John Ray McDonald and wife, Erin of Poquoson, VA; grandchildren, Brittany, Chelsea, John, Cameron, Trevor, Noah; father, William Perry Hayes, Sr. and wife, Linda of Lufkin; brothers, William Perry Hayes, Jr. and wife, Ruth of Henderson, Jackie Hayes and wife, Kathy of Delhi, LA, Leroy Wheeler and wife, Jetta of Kilgore, Darrell Wheeler and wife, JoAnn of Navarre, FL, Mark Hayes and wife, Melissa of Overton; sister, Toni Wheeler of Longview; sisters-in-law, Verna Clark of Grapeland,  Sharon Estes and husband, David of Midlothian; Wildwood Church Family and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by mother, Mary Elizabeth Hayes and mother, Dolores Ann Hayes.

Funeral services for Kerry Mitchell “Mickey” Hayes were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Elder Roy Patrick officiating.  Interment followed in the Weches Cemetery.
