Paula S. Scoggins

Services for Paula S. Scoggins age 73 of Grapeland were held at 2 P.M. Saturday April 28, 2018 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland with Rev. Roy Bowman and Rev. Joel Bowman officiating. Burial followed in Muse Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Scoggins passed away Tuesday at the Community Care Center in Crockett. She was born February 18, 1945 in Crockett, Texas to Frank and Agnes Bowman Stroud. Mrs. Scoggins was a homemaker, wife and mother. She loved her extended family and friends. She was a member of the Denson Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her parents, her daughters Lou Ann Hamilton and Lisa Mitchell, a son Glenn Scoggins and a sister Lova Jan Stroud. She is survived by her husband Charlie Scoggins, sons Cody Scoggins, Kasey Scoggins, and Robert Scoggins, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Robert Scoggins, Heath Taylor, Justin Scoggins, Danny Taylor, and Joe Ansley.

Visitation was held from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, April, 27, 2018 at the Grapeland Funeral Chapel, Grapeland.
