Edna Mae Nix, age 79, of Crockett passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the Winfield Nursing Center. Edna was born August 28, 1938 in Matthews, TX to parents, John Henry Perry and Rosalie Janak Perry.

She was a legal secretary for many years and an avid Houston Astros fan. Edna loved the outdoors, horseback riding and dancing.
Edna is survived by daughter, Rebekka Wall and husband, Bill of Crockett; granddaughters, Anna and Krystal Wall of Crockett; son, Randy Brown of Branson, MO; sister, Ruby Overton and husband, Bob of Rockport; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Emory Nix; son, John Perry Nix; parents, John and Rosalie Perry; brothers, William Perry, George Perry, Herbert Perry; sister, Lucille Lange and husband, Bud.

Funeral services for Edna Mae Nix were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darryl Bennett officiating. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake. Family received friends for visitation Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
