Lesley Carson

Lesley Carson, age 78, of Purdon, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence. Lesley was born May 20, 1939 in Houston County to parents, Otto Carson and Lila Mae Cannon Carson.

He was a diesel mechanic for many years and was a Master Mason and a member of the Palmer Masonic  Lodge #459.

Lesley is survived by children, Patricia Youngblood, Salina Oxendine, Dewey Carson, George Carson, Tommy Carson; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; sister, Jewel Lunsford.

He was preceded in death by wife, Ruth Allene Bradford Carson; son, David Carson; grandson, Brandon Bradley; father, Otto Carson; mother, Lila May Cannon Carson; sister, Barbara Miles; brothers, James Carson, Norman Lee, J. W. Lee.

Graveside funeral services for Lesley Carson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Robert Cannon officiating.

Family will receive friends for visitation Friday morning from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
