The event is open to the public. The registration fee is $25 which can be paid at the Library. Please plan to participate as a contestant or as a participant.  Along with the Chili Cook-off  the Methodist Women will  have a bake sale with a variety of wonderful home baked goodies.  We will also have a 42 Tournament.

Approximately 295 patrons visited the Library during the month of January.  Four new library cards were issued.  Fifty-two new books were acquired and 80 volunteer hours were logged for the month.

With all of the cold weather preventing outside activities, this is a great time to visit the Library and check out some our newly acquired books (print and audio), our large collection of videos, the Black History Exhibit which will be available through February  28.

The library is located at 212 N. Oak Street.  Library hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
