Kiera DeCluette Receives DI Offer

Congratulations to Sandiette Kiera DeCluette for receiving her first Division I offer (from Lamar University) to play softball at the next level.

According to Grapeland Softball Head Coach Joel Barbosa, DeCluette “… is one of the hardest working young ladies I have ever had the privilege of coaching. I’m excited to see what this season has in store for the Sandiettes.”

Barbosa urged softball fans to come out and watch the Sandiettes play this year.

“If you have not had the chance to watch Kiera or her teammates compete,” he added, “you need to make it out to one of our games this season. It has been a pleasure watching this kid grow before our eyes and it’s great to see that a community the size of Grapeland is producing kids of this caliber.”
