Nancy W. Singleton

Nancy W. Singleton, 74, of League City, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2018. Born in Ranger, TX on July 6, 1943, she was the daughter of TJ and Thelma Williford.

Nancy graduated from Deer Park High School, and attended both Lee College in Baytown, TX and East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, TX. She worked for many years in industrial elevator and crane sales with Emscor Sales and Rentals.

Nancy loved many things in life, most importantly her children, Matt and Tracy. She also loved her farm in Grapeland, TX, horses, Duke basketball and music. Before suffering the effects of advanced rheumatoid arthritis, she would spend hours at the piano, practicing, accompanying her daughter’s singing, and playing for her church. While her family is saddened by her passing, they know she finally out of pain and is sitting at the feet of Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her father, TJ Williford, mother, Thelma Williford, and brother, Walter Williford.

Nancy is survived by her son, Matt Singleton, daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Ron Willis; brother Warren Williford and wife Cynthia; grandchildren Maggie, TJ, Matthew and Emma, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Grapeland, TX on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1 p.m.
