Donald Keith Rhone

Donald Keith Rhone, age 61, of Crockett, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, the 11th day of January, 2018 at his home. Keith was born in Crockett, Texas on the 23rd day of October, 1956 to McDonald “Mack” Rhone and Dorma Corbin Rhone.

He was the former Fire Chief for the Crockett Fire Department and owner of Rhone Septic Service. He had a passion for classic cars and was a member of the Davy Crockett Cruisers Club. Keith loved his children, especially his grandkids. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed shooting guns with his grandchildren and son, Jacob. Keith was an avid coin collector and Crockett Bulldog Fan. He was a Christian and a Deacon at Central Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mack Rhone and brother, Michael William Rhone.

Keith is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tina Smith Rhone of Crockett, Texas; mother, Dorma Rhone of Crockett, Texas; mother-in-law, Alma Sue Eskue and husband Jerry of Crockett, Texas; daughters, Jamie Rhone of Crockett, Texas and Lyndsey Rhone Robinson and husband Charlie of Marquez, Texas; son, Jacob Rhone of Crockett, Texas; sister, Angie Rhone of Crockett, Texas; brother, Rick Rhone and wife Kim of Gun Barrel City, Texas; grandchildren, Gracie and Aiden Robinson and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 14th day of January, 2018 at Central Baptist Church in Crockett.

Funeral services for Donald Keith Rhone will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 15th day of January, 2018 at Central Baptist Church with Bro. John Goss officiating. Interment will follow at New Energy Cemetery in Belott, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Blake Lamb, Randy Ussery, Terry Shirley, Mike Marsh, Randy Allee, Danny Minter and Ray Bruner. Honorary pallbearers will be A. J. Sebastian and his grandson, Aiden Robinson.
