Paul Wayne Pinnell

Paul Wayne Pinnell, 58, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home in Crockett. Paul was born January 9, 1959 in Crockett to George Edgar Pinnell, Sr. and Edna Earl Sparkman Pinnell.

He worked at C. R. Hodges Survey as a surveyor for 25 years and his last occupation, he worked as a seismographer at D.A.S. Paul was a wonderful husband, a loving dad and had a very kind, compassionate heart. He had a love for all sports including volleyball, basketball and baseball.   Paul coached Latexo Little Dribblers for many years.  His favorite sport was baseball and  played co-ed softball for 24 years. Paul loved the outdoors, collecting arrowheads and bottles.  He was fond of woodworking especially making Texas Star benches. He was an avid storyteller and also enjoyed playing dominoes. He played the electric and bass guitar and Paul lived life to the fullest.

Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Pinnell of Crockett; daughters, Karli Pinnell of Crockett, Chloe Kenley and husband, Travis of Crockett; granddaughter, Reagan Ruth Kenley of Crockett; parents, George and Edna Earl Pinnell of Latexo; brothers, George E. Pinnell, Jr. of Latexo, Jimmy Pinnell of Crockett; sister, Paula Pinnell of Columbia, MO; brothers-in-law, Jerry Moon and wife, Debra of Centerville, Larry Moon and wife, Cathy of Missouri; nephews, Jonathan Horst of Columbia, MO, Jerry Dee Moon of Centerville; numerous other loving relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Zella Townsend; mother-in-law, Dora Glud.

Funeral service for Paul Wayne Pinnell was held at 1 p.m. Monday November 27, 2017 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel, Rev. Bob Thompson, officiating. Interment to follow in the Milligan Cemetery.
