Dorothy May Larkin

Funeral services for Dorothy May Larkin, 82 of Grapeland, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Evergreen Chapel, with Bro. Kenny Bush officiating.

Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mrs. Larkin passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at her home.

She was born April 3, 1935 in Grapeland, to Douglas Walton and Luna Mae Bridges Walton. She was a retired teachers aide from Grapeland ISD, and a member of Percilla Community Church, and a homemaker

Mrs. Larkin was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Luna Mae Walton, husband Larry Larkin, four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by daughters; Barbara Stubbs and husband Jim of West Columbia, and Lauren Rascher and husband Bill of Grapeland, sons; Chris Larkin and wife Donna of Lago Vista, and Chuck Larkin of Grapeland, grandchildren; Michael Larkin, Andrew Larkin, Jamalyn Rascher, Geoffrey Rascher, Matthew Rascher, Emilie Rascher, and J.C. Stubbs, great grandchildren; Jonas Larkin, Cora Larkin, Emma Stubbs and Olivia Stubbs.

Condolence calls were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at Bailey & Foster Chapel Grapeland.
