Matches to Watch: “I would really love to beat Normangee in both games we play them. We played them really close last year and wound up losing both. We split with Latexo last year and I would like to beat them in both this year. A lot of folks think Iola is untouchable – and they are very good – but I would like to be able to play close to them,” Coach Simison said.

Keep An Eye On: Tierra Jones

Outlook: “To be better than last year,” Simison said. “Replacing Hailee Sheridan as our setter will be tough, but we’ve changed up our offense and that gives us a lot more options. Plus, we are a lot bigger than we were last year.

Keys to Success: “Our size. We have two six footers in Tierra and Tatiyanna and then Hannah can jump out of the gym,” she said.
