June Indictments Released by Ho. Co. District Attorney

Seven out of 15 Disclosed Indictments Drug Related

HOUSTON COUNTY – According to information from the Houston County District Attorney’s Office, District Attorney Donna Gordon and Roger L. White met with the Houston County Grand Jury on Friday, June 30.

The grand jury returned a total of 20 indictments of which five are currently sealed. Of the remaining 15, seven are drug related with the majority involving methamphetamine.

Five of the indictments were for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group one, in an amount less than one gram. The five indicted individuals were: Stacy Lynn Branch; Joshua Lee Cedeno; Wyatt Miles Graham; Airianne Musick; and Danny Earl Smith.

Graham was also indicted for hindering the apprehension of a felon.

Chaneal Edson was indicted for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone with the intent to deliver. The drugs were categorized in penalty group one, in an amount greater than one gram, but less than four grams.

Justin Lloyd Dixon was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group one, in an amount greater than four grams but less than 200 grams. He was also indicted on four counts of forgery.

Penalty group one includes: cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, ketamine, oxycodone and hydrocodone (over 300 mg).

There were also two aggravated assault with a deadly weapon indictments handed down by the grand jury.

Dan Allums and Matthew Troy Westerman were both indicted for the offense while Allums was also indicted for attempted aggravated assault.

Two aggravated robbery indictments were also handed down at the end of June. Stephen Paul Jandes and Angela McKnight were both indicted for the crimes while Jandes also faces a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

A pair of indictments was also handed down for crimes against the elderly. Ronald James Davis was indicted on two counts of debit card abuse against the elderly and one count of forgery.

Andre Houston was indicted on one count of theft of livestock from an elderly person and one count of theft over $20,000 but less than $100,000 from an elderly person.

The remaining two indictments, against Anthony Glen Lockhart and Jon Heath Missildine, involved the theft of property in an amount less than $2,500. Both individuals had two or more previous convictions for the same crime.
