I love tongue twisters. You know, the kind of silly little rhymes that are hard to say fast… I thought I would print some of these today. Most will be familiar but a few will be some you’ve never heard before.

Peter Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers? If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Ice Cream, I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

I Saw Susie sitting in a shoe shine shop.

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t very fuzzy, was he?
I have got a date at a quarter to eight; I’ll see you at the gate, so don’t be late.

When a doctor doctors a doctor, does the doctor doing the doctoring doctor as the doctor being doctored wants to be doctored or does the doctor doing the doctoring doctor as he wants to doctor?

And last of all I found one I had not heard before.

A tree toad loved a she toad who lived up in a tree. He was a two-toed tree toad but a three-toed tree toad was she. The two-toed tree toad tried to win the three-toed tree toad’s heart. The two-toed tree toad loved the ground that the three- toed tree trod But the two-toed tree toad tried in vain. He couldn’t please her whim, for her tree toad bower with her three-toed power, the she toad vetoed him.
