Jasper Eugene Jennings

Jasper Eugene Jennings, age 85, of Kennard passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in Dickinson. He was born October 5, 1931 in Houston County to parents, Wade Jennings and Mona Moffitt Jennings.

He was a 1948 graduate of Kennard High School, retired as a manufacturing supervisor from Monsanto with 33 years of service and then owned and operated the Boatwright Limousin Ranch.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Jennings of Kennard; son, Dennis Jennings and wife, Sharon of Loveland, CO; daughters, Thresa McClellen of Kemah, and Linda Jennings of Dickinson; grandchildren, Jennifer Silberisen and husband, Harold, Jason Jennings, Tim McClellen and wife, Amy, Ryan McClellen and wife, Shannon, Breanne Andoe and husband, Turner, and Kasey Rogers; great-grandchildren, Clay Jennings, Austin Silberisen, Hadleigh Silberisen, Madison McClellen, Clara Rae McClellen, and Imogin Rose Andoe; step-daughters, Stacy Adkins and husband, Don of Auburn, GA and Stephanie Bartenope and husband, Tony of Trinity, FL; step-grandchildren, Justin Whiddon, Jeremy Whiddon, Savannah Bartenope and Maxx Bartenope; sister, Waddell Harrison Calhoun; brother, Joe Dewitt Jennings of Santa Fe; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Wade and Mona Jennings.

Funeral services for Jasper Eugene Jennings was held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel.

Interment followed in the Corinth Cemetery. The family received friends for visitation Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.callawayallee.com
