Jamie Murray

Jamie Murray, 84, of Lovelady, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Avalon Place Nursing Home in Trinity. 

Mr. Murray was born in Crockett, March 31, 1933 to Luther Murray and Ethel Hutcherson Murray. 

Jamie served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and worked as a truck driver most of his life. 

Jamie is survived by his sons, Steve Murray and wife, Elisha of Lovelady, Stacy Murray and wife, Donna of Lovelady, Stan Murray and wife, Jennifer of Lovelady; grandchildren, Jake Randall Murray, Stevie Renee Murray, Jarod Murray, Seth Murray, Slade Murray; great-grandson, Gunner Murray; numerous brothers, sister, other loving relatives and friends. Jamie is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ethel Murray; a brother and a sister. 

Funeral services for Jamie Murray was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Tony Wolfe, officiating.  Interment to follow in Hagan Cemetery. The family received visitors from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday at Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.

Arrangements were under the direction of Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
