Pat Harrington Platt

Pat Harrington Platt, age 83, of Crockett passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in the Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler. She was born April 29, 1934 in Houston County to parents, John Hubert Harrington and Hazel Taylor Harrington. She was a member of the Harvest Church where she was also a member of the WOW “Ladies Prayer Group”.

She is survived by her husband, Arlon Platt of Crockett; children, Randy Green of Quinlan, Rex Hughes of Latexo, Karen Poco and husband, Asa Sutton of Latexo, Cynthia Jeffcoat and husband, Jack of Quinlan and Ronnie Hughes and wife, Rita of Rockwall, Beverly Baum of Garland; grandchildren, Christopher Hughes of Killeen, Mark Poco of Greenville, MaDonna Moody of Latexo, Jacinta Sullivan of Royse City, Heather Rustin of Dallas, Dustin Hughes of Ft. Worth, Dakota Jeffcoat of Quinlan, Hannah Jeffcoat of Quilan, Jesse Hughes of Garland, and Aubrey Platt of Angel Fire, NM; great-grandchildren, Kwani Poco, Kell Scott, Mitchell Poco, Romi Poco, Tomi Poco, Caleb Sullivan, Penelope Hughes, John Hughes, Trip Moody and Emery Jeffcoat; sisters, Linda Cotton of Quinlan and Brenda Hill of Latexo; extended family, Sandy and Sam Bruce of Angel Fire, NM, Debbie McCall of Crockett, Pattie and David Tyer of Crockett, and Tonya Platt of Angel Fire, NM; and numerous other grandchildren, loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by son, Donald Hughes; parents, Hubert and Hazel Harrington; brothers, Eddie Harrington and Jimmy Harrington.

Funeral services for Pat Harrington Platt was held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Ivey officiating. Interment to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
