Sanford Lee Peacock

Sanford Lee Peacock, age 78, of Grapeland passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in Crockett.

He was born May 4, 1938 in Houston County to parents, Harvey Lee Peacock and Jennie Cordelia Burran Peacock.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Lyn Peacock and wife, Janie Marie of Weches, Harvey Peacock and wife, Rhonda of Weches; daughter, Michelle Diane Patton and husband, Alvin of Crockett; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Bell Bridges of Amarillo and Lizzy Bridges of Friona.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Peacock; and parents, Harvey and Jennie Peacock.

Graveside services for Sanford Lee Peacock were held Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Weches Cemetery with the Rev. Kenny Bush officiating.

The family received friends for visitation Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
