Palestine Duo Selected to TSWA All-State Team

 PALESTINE – A pair of Palestine Wildcats were selected to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State football team, sponsored by Collin Street Bakery.

Offensive guard Jake Neal was selected to the All-State Honorable Mention squad for his work in the trenches of the “O” line. Neal recorded 46 pancake blocks, 28 knockdowns, did not allow a QB sack and posted a 94 percent grade. He has committed to play
football next year at Trinity Valley Community College.

Defensive back Quinn Tinley was also selected to the All-State Honorable Mention team for his ball-hawking skills in the secondary. Tinley recorded 41 tackles including four for a loss, six pass break-ups and five interceptions. He also caused three fumbles and recovered one. Tinley has committed to play football next year at UT – Permian Basin.

Congratulations to both these young men and best of luck in the future as they take their talents to the next level.
