Bonnie Joy Manning Hester

Mrs. Bonnie Joy Manning Hester, age 86, of Crockett passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the Whitehall Nursing Center. Bonnie was born November 23, 1930 in Houston County to parents, John B. Manning and Margaret Bolch Manning. Bonnie was a retired teacher and a member of the North Loop Baptist Church. Bonnie is survived by husband of 70 years, Earl Hester of Crockett; son, Mike Hester and wife, Cindy of Jersey Village; grandchildren, Kelly McMichael and husband, Curtis of Tomball and Amy Martinez and husband, Chuck of Katy; great-grandchildren, Paige, Carly, Elijah and Canaan; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Hester and parents, John and Maggie Manning. Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Joy Manning Hester was held Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in the New Energy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Loop Baptist Church.
