Ho. Co. Go Texan Fundraiser Slated for Jan. 21

LOVELADY – The Fourth Annual Go Texan Scholarship Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21 at the Lovelady Old Gym in Lovelady.

A dance, drawing and silent auction will be held to raise money for Houston County area scholarship recipients.

The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event lasts until midnight. The Loose Gravel Band will be providing the entertainment and the musicians are scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 p.m.

The cover charge is $10 as well as a $10 cooler charge. The facility will provide a concession stand for the convenience of attendees.

The various items to be auctioned off include saltwater fishing expeditions, hunting trips and custom, handmade knives. The evening’s events also will include several gun drawings as well as countless other items for attendees to bid on.
