Marvin Earl Willis of Grapeland was born January 20, 1940 in Anthony, Texas and grew up in New Mexico. He left this earth January 25, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a retired electrician, being self-employed for twenty-five years in Madisonville, Texas, then working for TDCJ. Chuck Barton Musick, age 54, of Waskom, and formerly of Grapeland, Texas passed away on January 25, 2017. He was born on May 26, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Sammy Joe Musick and Dixie Jarvis Musick. He was a truck driver for Davis Chemical. Mr. Musick was preceded in death by his father, Sammy Joe Musick; sisters, Susan McQueen and Jana Freese; brother, Joe Vaughn Musick; and nephew Ryan James.
