Martin Huddleston

Martin Harold Huddleston, age 58, of Slocum, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2016 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. He was born on February 3, 1958 in Palestine, Texas to A.L. and Barbara Weeks Huddleston. Mr. Huddleston worked for the Elkhart Farmer’s Co-op, operated a feed mill, and was a rancher.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Huddleston is survived by his wife of 39 years; Sandy Story Huddleston of Slocum, Texas, 3 sons; John Robert Huddleston and wife Angie of Clifton, Texas, Martin A.L. Huddleston and wife Jennifer of Elkhart, Texas, and Terry Wayne Huddleston and wife Christin of Slocum, Texas, his mother; Barbara Weeks Huddleston of Palestine, Texas, sister: Janet Morrow of Palestine, Texas, and 2 brothers; Bobby Huddleston of Palestine, Texas and William Huddleston of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The family received friends for visitation on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Rhone Funeral Home. Graveside services were private, officiated by Bro. Butch Grant.
