Loye Fay Clark

Loye Fay Clark of Charlotte, North Carolina was born in Houston County, Texas on April 14, 1933. She was the second of two children born to James Henry and Loye Zera Beeson. Mrs. Clark passed away peacefully in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 10, 2016.

Mrs. Clark was a graduate of Palestine High School in Palestine, Texas. She earned her Nursing Degree from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas and practiced nursing for over 20 years. She resided in Grants Pass, Oregon and Charlotte, North Carolina. She was an avid traveler, bridge player and loved to read.

Mrs. Clark was the beloved wife of 36 years to Glenn B Clark who died in May of 2012. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Murdoch Darsey, her parents and her infant sister, Bernice Beeson. Left here to cherish her memory are sons Murdoch Darsey and wife MZ of Dallas, Texas, Jim Darsey and wife Donna of Charlotte, North Carolina and Tim Darsey of Boise, Idaho; a granddaughter and her husband, Caroline and Aaron McCullough of Sarnia, Canada, a granddaughter, Courtney Darsey of FT Benning, Georgia, a grandson and his wife, Jake and Madeline Darsey of FT Benning, Georgia, a granddaughter, Mandy Darsey of Dallas, Texas and a grandson, Jason Darsey of Dallas Texas. Mrs. Clark was blessed to have recently spent time with her grandchildren of whom she was extremely proud.

A Memorial and graveside service will be held Saturday, November 19 at 10:00 AM at Denson Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas with the Reverend Gary Luker officiating. The services in Grapeland will be under the direction of Rhone Funeral Home, 3900 S. State Hwy 19, in Palestine.
