Dora Aileen Huff

 

Services for Dora Aileen Huff age 85 of Grapeland will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Grapeland with Rev. Arthur Betz, Rev. Willie Reagan and Rev. Parker Hartzog officiating. Burial will follow in Dailey Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.

Mrs. Huff died Monday at Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. She was born July 5, 1931 to Burlus and Allie Smith Brown. Mrs. Huff was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Grapeland.

Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Huff in 2009, sisters, Aoma Montgomery and Alva Lee Wright, brothers, Loyd Pete Brown, Hill Brown, Harvel Brown, and Jack Brown. She is survived by her daughter Paula Byrd and husband Tommy of Grapeland, a son Mark Huff and wife Linda of Palestine, sisters, June Musick of Crockett, and Eva Jean Starkey, four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, she also is survived by special friends, Dorothy Tutt, Bobbie Walker and Jean Sheppard.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Montgomery, Billy McKinney, Dan Huff, Jerry Brown, Darrell Brown, Daon Starkey, David Shaver, and Sheldon Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Brown, Todd Shaver, Wyman Brown and Bryan Brown.

Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Chapel, Grapeland.
