Latexo Cross Country Meet Results

HOUSTON COUNTY – Approximately 15 schools made the Wednesday afternoon trek to compete in the Latexo Cross Country Meet held at the Shartle Ranch at Hickory Creek. With a slight breeze and cooler than normal temperatures, the conditions were perfect as the runners toed the starting line for the 1:00 p.m. start time.

Both the varsity girls and varsity boys had over 100 athletes in competition and six schools from Anderson and Houston County were represented when the starter’s pistol was fired.

For the Cayuga Lady Wildcats: 66) Emily Banta – 16.45; 71) Watson – 17.10; 76) Morgan Turner – 17.18;       and 87) Tori Williams – 19.12.

For the Crockett Lady Bulldogs: 42) Cristal Arvizu – 15:22 and 54) Brisa Frias – 16:09

For the Grapeland Sandiettes: Kenya Woods finished first with a time of 12.42 and Ragan Bowie was third with a time of 12:46.02.

For the Latexo Lady Tigers: 26) Destiny Pettit – 14:30; 29) Maddie Kelsey – 14.46; 31); 38) Cinderella Rice – 15:06; 41) Taylor Upshaw- 15.19; 52) Alexa Knight – 15:54; and 58) Gracie Gibbins – 16.33.

For the Lovelady Lady Lions: 13) Madalyn James -13.54; 23) Hannah Yolk – 14:23; 27) Jala Rollo – 14:32; 33) Olivia Wilson – 14:57.08; and 47) Hannah Burleson – 15:37.
