Annie Loyce Coleman Lamb

Annie Loyce Coleman Lamb (63) was born March 3, 1953 to Costella Jones Coleman and Henry L. Coleman and was raised in the Grapeland community and attended W.R. Banks school. At an early age she united with Pennington Chapel Baptist Church and as an adult she joined Rising Star Baptist Church where she served as an usher and choir member. On January 30, 1971 she married her sweetheart Johnny Ray Lamb and welcomed 3 kids to their family: Johnny Jr., Christal and Michael. Annie worked in the security field and at TDCJ.

She transitioned peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends, Saturday, September 24, 2016. Left to cherish her memories of faith, and love are her sons Johnny (Aneshia) Lamb, Jr., and Michael Lamb of Grapeland, TX, and daughter Christal (Lavardrick) Satterwhite, of Grapeland, TX; brothers James L. Coleman, Joe (Mattie) Coleman and Rufus (Ramona) Coleman, of Grapeland, TX; sister Pat (Alan) Johnson, of Grapeland; aunt Inez Davis, of Grapeland, TX and uncles Jack (Rose) Jones and Fred Jones of Grapeland, TX; nine (9) grandchildren one (1) great grandchild and special friend Rena Beazley.

Services were held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Rising Star Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.
